Aperture Light Switch

Aperture Light Switch is an iris mechanism that mounts to standard light switch fixtures. Admittedly, a leaf shutter would have been more symbolically appropriate for use with a standard light switch, but I just happen to love aperture mechanisms. Rotating the device to close the blades flicks off the switch and opening the blades turns on the switch. Aperture Light Switch was created in spring 2013 with laser-cut bristol and wood, as well as standard fastening hardware.
